Key Religious Artifacts in a Catholic Mass

During a Catholic Mass, various sacred items are utilized, all of which are consecrated for divine purposes. Items associated with the Holy Eucharist, such as the Body and Blood of Christ, are crafted from precious metals like gold or gold-plated silver. Understanding these components is vital to grasping Catholic liturgy. Below are some of the most significant religious artifacts used during the service:

Liturgical Books
Typically, four main books are utilized: the Gospel Book, Lectionary, Hymnal or Missalette, and Sacramentary. Each serves a specific role and is used at different points in the mass.

Chalice
