1. Deep Squat

Traditionally, squat depth was limited to protect your knees, but observing active populations worldwide shows full squats are safe if done correctly. Be cautious not to strain yourself.

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your chest up. Sit back as if into a chair, maintaining contact with your heels. Lower yourself comfortably until your thighs are parallel to the ground or your calves touch your hamstrings. Ensure your knees track over your toes, and keep your heels grounded throughout.

2. Walking Lunges

Walking lunges simulate natural walking motions, strengthening both legs independently to prevent muscle imbalance.

Start with feet shoulder-width apart. Step forward with your left foot, aligning it as if on train tracks. Land softly, then lower your right knee toward the ground without touching down.
