Understanding the UHIC Premium Healthcare Program: Key Insights

Participating physicians must have current UnitedHealthcare Commercial FFS contracts, practice within designated UHIC regions, and specialize in one or more of the program’s recognized fields. The list of premium providers is reviewed annually, emphasizing quality and cost-effectiveness.

Consumers are involved in the decision-making process to gather real-world feedback and ensure the program benefits end users. This transparency allows patients to make better-informed healthcare choices and enables physicians to refer patients to highly rated specialists from the program.
